Exotec Expands Commercial Leadership Team with the Appointment of Clémence Munier to Global Vice President, Grocery

The former Ocado Group Vice President will bridge product and commercial teams to shape Exotec's grocery strategy.

WASQUEHAL, France, Nov. 5, 2026 — Exotec, a global warehouse robotics provider, today announced the addition of Clémence Munier as Global Vice President, Grocery. The newly created role reflects Exotec's investment in vertical-specific expertise as demand for grocery automation grows. She'll influence Exotec's strategy in providing solutions for the unique problems across grocery markets in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.

Munier brings over 10 years of grocery experience, spanning both the retail side and  grocery e-commerce automation. Most recently she served as Vice President of New Business Acquisition at Ocado Group, where she built and led the global team that won new partners for the Ocado Smart Platform, growing its portfolio to 15 retailers worldwide. Prior to this role, she led a team of vendor managers at Amazon UK, owning the commercial strategy and P&L for its grocery category.

The grocery sector poses challenging requirements for automation.  Fulfillment centers must handle fast and slow movers, serve omnichannel needs, and automate the movement of both perishable and non-perishable goods. Historically, automation systems are built on the fixed requirements of the business and unable to scale as needs evolve.

As both an OEM and Integrator, Exotec develops vertical-specific solutions based on a foundation of proven, modular technology. This modular approach enables customers to add robots and third-party machinery as their operations change, without a costly redesign or a new warehouse.

"The grocery industry can gain significantly from automating. Labor costs are rising. The operator talent pool is shrinking. When you have razor-thin margins, making an investment into automation can help cut back on these costs," said Arthur Bellamy, Chief Revenue Officer at Exotec. "Clémence knows this industry from the inside out, and her expertise will be critical as we expand our grocery offerings to support grocers in feeling the full value of advanced automation."

"I've seen first-hand how challenging it can be for grocers to keep pace with changing customer expectations while maintaining operational efficiency," said Munier. "I've long admired Exotec's flexible approach to automation. By enabling retailers to adapt and scale, we're setting our customers up for sustainable success."

Exotec works with leading grocers, including E. Leclerc, Carrefour, and Colruyt, to modernize fulfillment operations and help navigate the growing complexity of omnichannel grocery. The appointment of Munier accelerates this momentum, bringing deep industry expertise to support grocers worldwide.
