Executives from TMB (Trusted Media Brands), FAST Studios, FUEL TV, and Swerve TV to discuss streaming monetization strategies at Future of Video, November 17–18 in Marina del Rey, California
PLANO, Texas, Nov. 3, 2026 — New research from Parks Associates finds the US streaming market has 275 subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services, 141 advertising-based video-on-demand (AVOD) services, and 60 FAST platforms, highlighting the growing diversity of business models competing for consumer attention and advertising revenue.
Research from the firm's Streaming Video Tracker also identifies 243 premium SVOD services, 85 transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) services, 110 FAST channels, 55 ad-supported SVOD services, and eight virtual multichannel video programming distributors (vMVPDs). Categories may overlap as streaming providers increasingly combine subscription, advertising, and free content offerings.
Parks Associates will examine these competitive dynamics during the session "Hybrid Models & Evolving Monetization: AVOD, SVOD, FAST" at its upcoming Future of Video: Business of Streaming conference, November 17-18 at the Marina del Rey Marriott in California.
The session, moderated by Michael Goodman, Director, Entertainment Research, Parks Associates, features executives representing content owners, streaming platforms, and FAST channel operators:
- Jill Goldfarb, SVP, Streaming TV at Jukin Media, TMB (Trusted Media Brands)
- Stuart McLean, CEO, FAST Studios
- Gene Pao, President and GM, North America, FUEL TV
- Steve Shannon, Founder and CEO, Swerve TV
"The streaming market is evolving beyond traditional subscription models, with companies testing new combinations of advertising, premium content, and free services," Goodman said. "Streaming providers must identify sustainable revenue models that balance advertising, pricing, content investment, and customer retention."
