Fans of the phenomenal series Stranger Things were left speechless when beloved character chief of police Jim Hopper died during the dramatic scene. Now the question that everybody seems to be asking is – Will we see Jim Hopper in Stranger Things Season 4?
Jim Hopper has been a fan favourite throughout the series as he helped Eleven and the rest of the gang escape the reach of the upside-down. The season ended with Jim dying while he tried to close the Gate to the Upside Down. But, if you went through the end of the credits, you would have realized the bombshell mid-credits scene and you will know that that’s not the end of Jim Hopper. It could be, instead, that Hopper had escaped to the Upside Down when the explosion happened.
When is Stranger Things 4 Coming out and will we see Jim Hopper Again ?
First of all, there was nobody or a pile of goo or dust that represented Hopper’s remains. Another clue was Hopper’s last words when he said, “see you in Hell”. Cut to three months later, the scene shows a vandalized Hawkins sign that said “Welcome to Hell” instead of “Welcome to Hawkins”. It could be a clue to fans that he will indeed be back the next season. Another clue has something to do with the fact that the Stranger Things producers have a thing for fake deaths.
Even in season one alone, there were several fake deaths such as Will, Eleven, and Dr Brenner. Cut to the next season, Eleven just disappeared into the Upside Down, which is probably also what happened to Jim Hopper. Could Jim Hopper be back for the next season? It sure looks like it! If you’re a fan of Stranger Things, then you’re in for a ride!
Shooting for Stranger Things Season 4 will begin shortly in January 2020. The show is not expected to come out until August 2020.
